Representing approximately one hundred local businesses and agencies, one person companies, small and medium sized businesses, major corporations, the Kent-South Chamber of Commerce is a non-profit volunteer association working to represent and protect business interests relating to local economic development.
The Chamber has been an active force in the community for more than 50 years, during which time it has consistently aimed to promote trade, industry and civic well-being in the Greater Bouctouche region. The Chamber’s involvement in local development is apparent in its role at the forefront of the tourism industry. In the early ’90s, the association played a major part in establishing the Bouctouche Bay Eco-Tourism project to develop the dune into the world-renowned attraction it is today.
